Neural therapy

Concept Definition
Neural therapy

The Neural therapy is a modern alternative medical procedure that has been known since 1926. It is a healing method in which so-called interference fields in the human body are eliminated by means of local injections of the local anesthetic procaine and meaverine.

In practice, neural therapy is used for acute, chronic and degenerative diseases, especially of the musculoskeletal system.

Neural therapy is basically a therapeutic local anesthesia in certain pain or trigger points. The irritation centers deactivated by the injection and the activated autonomic nervous system lead to pain relief and possible healing in the affected areas via an end block.

Neural therapy is used in our practice for the following diseases:

  • Pain in the entire spinal muscles (cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine)
  • Pain in the shoulder and elbow joints
  • Pain in the knee joints

Neural therapy is performed approximately 3 to 6 times, sometimes in combination with electrical stimulation therapy. It can also be combined with all other therapeutic procedures.
