Concept	Definition
PCSK0 inhibitors	Heart attack and Stroke at a young age – this is the threat to patients with familial, i.e. genetically determined, very high cholesterol levels. In these patients, the receptors for LDLcholesterol (Low Density Lipoprotein) on the liver cells and the LDL concentration in the blood increases dramatically. LDL values even beyond 500 mg/dl are possible.
Peripheral arterial pressure measurement	With the so-called peripheral Doppler examination, the blood pressure in the area of the feet is measured using ultrasound probes. By comparing this with the blood pressure values in the arms, circulatory disorders in the legs and feet can be detected at an early stage (e.g. 'smoker's legs').
Herbalists	The 'phytotherapy' or 'Herbalists' uses herbal medicines to prevent, strengthen, maintain and heal health. It is one of the oldest healing methods and has been and continues to be used in all cultures around the world.

practice laboratory for emergency diagnostics	CRP (c-reactive protein) Protein that can be determined in the blood. CRP is increased in bacterial inflammatory processes in the body.
pro-BNP	The pro-BNP is a new diagnostic marker in heart failure (heart failure). In patients with chronic heart failure, pro-BNP is increased in proportion to the severity of the disease. This laboratory value can be detected early in the course of heart failure and correlates very well with the clinical manifestation of heart failure.
prostate sonography	Through an ultrasound examination of the prostate we can get an accurate picture of the size and condition of the prostate structure.
Prostate cancer	Prostate cancer is a malicious Cancer of the prostate gland and the most common malignancy in men in Germany. Over 63.000 new cases are registered every year. After lung and colon cancer, prostate cancer is the third most common cause of cancer-related death.
PSA consulting	PSA is the abbreviation for prostate-specific antigen. PSA is a protein and is mainly produced by the epithelial cells of the prostate glands and released into the semen. It is only present in very small amounts in the blood of healthy men.
