Homöopathie

Concept Definition
Homöopathie

The Homöopathie represents a drug treatment in which the greatest care is taken to find the right medicine for the individual with his or her specific disease process.

Homeopathy is a scientific Medicine without ideologically motivated or speculative elements.

In homeopathy, the symptoms of the medicines that have been found through drug testing on healthy people and clinical observations and that are published in the homeopathic literature are used for the selection of medicines.

History of homeopathy

Homeopathic remedies were discovered 200 years ago by the German Doctor Dr. Samuel Hahnemann systematically observed this for the first time and formulated its principles as the 'principle of similars'. The medicine found to be most suitable for the patient is given to him in an individual dosage.

medicines and procedures

The medicines used come from the mineral, plant or animal kingdom and are gradually diluted. The prerequisite for choosing the homeopathic medicine is the homeopathic examination; it includes the following elements:

  • The precise recording of the patient’s current complaints in the initial homeopathic anamnesis and the clinical examination
  • The recognition and assessment of the emotional, mental and social situation of the patient
  • Asking about general symptoms such as eating, drinking, certain preferences and sleeping habits
  • A detailed biographical anamnesis with family history

Based on the information obtained in this way, the homeopathic doctor uses a special, complex methodology to determine the best possible medicine.

In our practice, homeopathic therapy is primarily used for chronic illnesses. Often, a combination with other therapeutic methods is not possible.

Execution

Since the recording of the homeopathic clinical picture is very time-consuming, this is done in the practice clinic Bornheim near Cologne, Bonn and Düsseldorf only by individual appointment.
