Biofeedback therapy lunow praxisklinik bornheimThe so-called 'myofascial system', which consists of muscles, tendons and tendon sheaths, is in chronic Diseases the musculoskeletal system is almost always affected.

Very often, this system plays a greater role in the cause of symptoms than existing bone and joint changes (e.g. due to osteoarthritis).

But this system is particularly amenable to therapeutic measures, ie the muscle tone can be positively influenced through targeted exercises. This also applies to chronic complaints of the musculoskeletal system.

Application areas:

  • shoulder and neck tension
  • headache
  • Scoliosis
  • back pain, also in cases of disc disease

Execution:

In several sessions, the muscle tone of certain areas of the body is measured using a computer-controlled measuring system: muscle imbalances between right and left, top and bottom can be detected and specifically influenced.

In a second step, certain exercises are used to train body awareness, as this is important for the triggering and, above all, chronicity of pain.

By performing several exercises under supervision, targeted relaxation can be initiated in the affected muscle areas. After a few exercises, the relaxation program can be continued at home on your own.
